Simple Skincare Review
Taking care of our face is a constant struggle for many women, as we usually get bombarded with a bunch of advertisements to try this and that. A few months ago, advertising won me over and I purchased some “Simple” skin products.
I love testing out new product and finding new favorites! When I packed for England about 2 months ago, I didn’t think of packing a face wash and what a big mistake that was. I ended up washing my face with regular liquid soap which just dried out my skin, so off to the store I went.
I immediately noticed the clean and simple look of the “Simple” line and the fact that it was buy 3 for the price of 2 was a big plus in my book. I stocked up on Simple facewash, Simple rich moisturizer and Simple night cream. It’s been a month and a half of me using the products and I’ve got to say – I’m a fan!
I have seen the “Simple” line in the US stores before and have been eyeing it for quite some time now, so I was very excited to finally try it out.
I was pleasantly surprised with the Moisturising Facial Wash as it was very gentle on my already irritated skin. Within the first two uses I felt a different in my skin, it definitely moisturised my skin without leaving an oily residue. Some face washes leave patches of red on my skin and the Simple face wash was gentle and I felt like my skin was glowing afterwards.
After the face wash, I followed up with Replenishing Rich Moisturiser. (Now that I am in the UK, my computer keeps trying to correct me on the way I write my words .. so it tells me moisturize is incorrect. Making me confused! American vs English problems)
The moisturiser is wonderfully balanced, it isn’t super oily but moisturises your skin and makes it feel baby skin soft! It is definitely good enough to use in the winter when your skin is at its driest, but seems to be light enough to be used in the summer as well.
The Vital Vitamin Night Cream is definitely my favorite, it definitely is heavier than the moisturiser but feels wonderful on the skin. My most important factor when it comes to creams and moisturiser is the perfect balance between too dry and too oily/greasy and Simple Skin Care definitely has the balance figured out!
Simple is available in the US, I have seen it in Wal-Mart, Target and almost any other drugstore and it is also available in the UK, Tesco, Boots and other drugstores as well.
I am definitely interested in more Simple products and will be purchasing more to review in the next few months!
